JEE Mains Paper 2 Entrance Exam 2024

 

JEE Main Paper 2 Scheme of Examination

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Joint Entrance Exam Paper 2 to measure the aptitude of the applicant for admission to B.Arch/B.Plan programs at NITs, IIITs, Other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments & several other Institutions. JEE Main Paper 2A and Paper 2B (B.Arch and B.Planning) will be held twice a year (January and April 2024)

JEE Main Paper 2 will be conducted in the following modes:

1. Paper 2A (B.Arch): Mathematics (Part I) and Aptitude Test (Part II) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. Drawing Test (Part III) in pen & paper (Offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.

2. Paper 2B (B.Planning): Mathematics (Part I) and Aptitude Test (Part II) and Planning Based Questions (Part III) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

*20 questions will be MCQs & 5 questions will have answers to be filled as a numerical value. There will be negative marking for both Section A & Section B. For each question in Section B, enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. The answer should be rounded off to the nearest Integer.

All the exams of JEE (Main) Paper 2 will be conducted as "Computer Based Test" (CBT) Mode except the Drawing Test for B.Arch which will be held as "Pen & Paper Based Test."

Important Points to keep in mind at the JEE Main Examination Centre

The candidates who wish to appear for both B Arch & B Plan, will have the duration of examination for 3:30 hrs 

Candidates are advised to report at the Examination Centre, 2 hours before commencement of the exam.

Candidates should take up their seats immediately after opening of the Examination Hall.

If asked by the invigilator, the candidate must show his/her Admit Card.

The candidate should find & sit on the seat indicating his/her Roll No.

If  the candidate finds the subject of question paper available on the computer, other than his/her opted subject, it should be immediately brought to the notice of the invigilator.
